JOB OVERVIEW

To assist construction engineer/manager in performing his/her daily scopes and responsibilities.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

• To coordinate with the engineering & design team for the issuance and the accuracy of the drawings.
• To assist construction schedule and project timelines.
• To assist in developing, implement and oversee the quality assurance program.
• Coordinate the construction works on site with the project owner and the contractors/subcontractors in a timely and safe manner to meet the project timelines.
• To report to construction engineer/manager on the progress of works on site, planned vs actual progress.
• To assist construction engineer/manager in controlling cost associated with the project, planned vs actual budget.
• Ensure that the contractors and workers on site adhere to the rules and regulations.
• Ensure that the contractors are supplying, installing and constructing in accordance to the drawings and specifications.
• Conduct pre-delivery and delivery inspections of the construction materials, equipment and instruments prior to installation.
• To inform project management team to identify scope changes in the project and prepare a deviation report, if necessary.
• Safety and health of workers and equipment on site.
• Prepare relevant reports to the project management regarding the progress of works.
• Ensure the general cleanliness and EHS of the site.
• To attend to any communique from any parties, and convey the same to the management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in C&S Engineering Disciplines
• Minimum 1 year construction site experiences
• Proficient in English/Malay/Chinese in writing and spoken languages
• Computer-literate (Well verse in MS Office etc)
• Experiences in RE and solar power plant construction will be an advantage
• Willing to be relocated to outstation within Malaysia/Brunei.
• Must be able to travel or locate at project sites in West Malaysia/Sarawak/Sabah/Brunei.
