JOB OVERVIEW

You will be responsible to validate, design and approve the activities related to the electrical parts of our new projects.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

• Planning, scheduling, organizing of work and project scopes.
• Practical ability to complete site inspections (Electrical).
• Co-ordination of site and office staff as well as managing the documentation flow.
• Liaise with the main contractors, consultants and subcontractors in the implementation and coordination of electrical works.
• Interaction meeting with project owner representative, consultant meeting, site co-ordination meeting, etc.
• Site monitoring and supervision of subcontractors in the execution of the electrical works.
• Site monitoring and inspection to ensure all works or installations done by subcontractors are in accordance with the specifications, drawings and technical requirement of project owner.
• Anticipate works to be put in hand and instructed to site officer/ project person in charge on the need for additional or revised drawings, instructions, etc. so as to avoid any delay to the works.
• Co-ordination on the design, execution and installation works, testing and commissioning of Mechanical and Electrical Services and associated works as well as other related services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in M&E working experience in construction/power plant industry.
• At least L1/L4/11kV/33kV/132KV/275KV certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga/SEB is a requirement and higher certification will be an advantage.
• Must be able to travel or locate at project sites in West Malaysia/Sarawak/Sabah/Brunei.
